Olive & Herb Bread

Making bread at home is wonderfully rewarding and is not actually difficult. Yes, achieving the baguettes of a French baker is hard— that is both a science and an art developed by bread professionals over centuries, and requires the right flour, etc. But there are many different types of bread, most of them household-made, therefore quite simple. Here's a tasty variation on a simple leavened loaf.
