Mixed Berries Zabaglione

An Italian dessert, known in France as sabayon. Surprisingly quick to make for maximum effect, and you can use frozen berries, after thawing them.
Don't throw away the egg whites! You can whip them up with leftover vegetables or cheese into a lean omelet.

  1. Egg whites also freeze perfectly, so you can save them up for the next time you want to make meringue, angel food cake, or French almond tea cakes. Put them in little yogurt/sour cream containers and label with how many whites.
